Hi, call me Dan! I am currently a Senior Software Engineer at Enverus working on mostly frontend React applications. I have over 10 years of experience developing web applications and working on different parts of the stack. I consider myself a full-stack developer, but recently I have enjoyed focusing on frontend work and security. I want to solve problems and build applications with a security-oriented mindset.
To better understand how computers and the internet work through the lens of security, I recently earned a Master of Science in Cybersecurity from Syracuse University. In earning an MS in Cybersecurity, I have revealed a curiosity in the hardware-software interface that I hope to grow and expand upon. I have a Bachelor of Science in Geophysical Engineering, with a minor in Computational and Applied Mathematics, and an area of special interest in Space and Planetary Science and Engineering. This background has enabled me to gain skills in web development, data visualization, privacy, security, GIS (Geographic Information Systems), and remote sensing.
At Enverus I have worked to implement mentorship programs, lead article discussions, and helped celebrate global holidays to foster a sense of community and belonging.

The BlockList extension allows you to create a list of domains you want to avoid. Upon encountering a website you wish to avoid in the future, you can quickly block that website through the extension. The list of blocked websites is stored locally through your browser, so your list stays safe and private with you.
BlockList options can be used to set a custom redirect page that the browser will redirect to when you navigate to a blocked site.
